Jeff is an experienced principal, teacher and Director of Christian Education, having served congregations and ministries in 6 states for over 30 years. He has been principal of schools in Missouri and Ohio. Jeff grew up in Elgin, IL and graduated from Concordia University in River Forest, IL where he has earned his BA, MA in Education and DCE certification. He is married to Karen, also a teacher, and they have three sons - Josh ,Joel and Zach. Jeff has served as a National Lutheran School Accreditation team captain as well as a Board Member of the Lutheran Education Association TEAM branch. The Pools moved to Texas from Missouri where Jeff was the Executive Director of Heit's Point Lutheran Ministries and Jeff has served as principal and teacher at Crown of Life Lutheran in Colleyville the past 7 years.
Karen grew up in Palmyra, Missouri. She received her BSE degree in Elementary Education from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. She has over 15 years of teaching experience at various elementary grade levels and has taught remedial reading and math. Karen has held teaching positions in Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin and Texas. Karen and Jeff been married for 34 years In her spare time, Karen enjoys reading, traveling, quilting, crafts and spending time with her husband and family. Karen served as an administrative assistant at Dallas Ft. Worth Airport, and for the last 2 years has taught second grade at Crown of Life in Colleyville.
