From our 2010 graduating class
"The thing I learned at St. Paul is to always be confident. I never liked literature, but one day Mrs. Shaver gave the class a writing assignment. When I turned it in, I thought it was bad, but when I got it back I got a “good job”. Now each time we have a writing assignment, I always do well." A.R. | "The most important lesson I learned at St. Paul is to “love God, love people.” This lesson was taught to me by the wonderful teachers, principal, and staff at St. Paul. Jesus died for my sins on a cross, and because He first loved me, I also love Him. " A.L. |
"Everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for me. Even though sometimes I make mistakes or things do not go as planned, it helps me become a better person. God always makes the right decisions, and it was the right decision to attend St. Paul." A.Z. | "I have learned many valuable lessons. While I was in St. Paul, I learned how to improve my English, especially my grammar. However, I learned other lessons which were more important such as treating other people with love and kindness." J.G. "The most important lesson I learned in St. Paul is to always behave, take responsibility and be organized. I have also learned that studying and reading are the best option to expand your vocabulary. I also learned a lot from Bible Study, which helps me in life." P.P. |
"The most important thing that I learned at St. Paul is math. I have learned that barely passing is not trying. If I want to succeed in life to my fullest potential, I have to do my best. " M.M. | "The first time I came here was the third grade. I had difficulties in a different culture, but everyone supported me all the time: teachers, principal, and my class- mates. Everyone taught me to have confidence in myself. " Y.M. |
